Fitting Instructions:
- 1. Remove towball and electric sockets from the towbar.
- 2. Fit the Tow-Tekta between the towball and towbar.
- If using the existing bolts, the ends of the bolts should protrude through the nuts when tightened.
- If longer bolts are required they must be BS3692 M16 high tensile towball bolts grade 8.8.
- New shakeproof washers or nylon locking nuts grade 8 should be used on all occasions.
- Bolts should be tightened to 240Nm.
- 3. The electrical sockets can be refitted without the need to rewire, using slots provided in the socket mountings.
